Hi, I'm Stacy.
I’m a Developmental Therapist who primarily works with infants, toddlers, and their families through the Illinois Early Intervention Program. I have a passion for helping young children learn, grow, and build confidence through the experiences that happen naturally in everyday life.
I believe babies and young children learn best through real experiences with real people. Development happens while playing together, hearing and responding to familiar voices, exploring the world around them, sharing meals, reading books, moving their bodies, getting messy, and participating in everyday family life. These simple moments create opportunities for connection, communication, curiosity, problem solving, and growth.
Through Play Together Therapy, my goal is not only to support a child’s development, but to help families recognize the opportunities for learning that are already happening all around them. Parents and caregivers are their child's first and most important teachers! Through everyday routines, relationships, play, and time together, families have countless opportunities to encourage learning, connection, and growth.
Development Happens Together
Early Intervention is most meaningful when it becomes part of everyday life. My role is to partner with families, offering support, ideas, and strategies that can naturally fit into the routines and activities they are already doing. Whether it is playtime, mealtime, getting dressed, going outside, or simply spending time together, everyday moments can become meaningful opportunities for learning and development.
I want families to feel confident in their ability to support their child and recognize the important role they play in their child’s progress. When we work together and build on a child’s interests, relationships, and everyday experiences, learning can continue long after a therapy visit ends.
