Every Book Is an Opportunity to Connect.

Reading with young children is about so much more than learning words. Books create opportunities to talk, listen, point, wonder, laugh, predict what might happen next, and share time together.

Children don’t have to sit quietly or make it to the end of the story for reading to be meaningful. Let them turn the pages, point to pictures, make sounds, ask questions, or read the same favorite book again and again. Following their interest helps make books something to enjoy, not something they have to “do.”

The goal isn’t to finish the book. It’s to enjoy the moments you spend exploring it together.
